New additions to my skincare shelf

New additions to my skincare shelf

I don’t know about you. But since the start of the year, I’ve really let my skincare routine slip. Partly because I’ve been so busy with too many late nights.

And partly through laziness. Thankfully, my skin hasn’t suffered too much. But it’s definitely made me realise that I need to take more time to care for my skin on a daily basis. It’s a positive act of self-care and definitely helps me to feel better about myself. And my skin. And although we may be in April, it’s not too late to start a new resolution, is it? So here’s what’s new in my skincare routine and what I’m excited to use more of this year.

This is one of my favourite products from La Roche-Posay. And it used to be such a firm favourite in my skincare routine. In fact, I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve repurchased this. But over the past six months, I’ve not touched it. And I have no idea why. I’ve never had problem skin but I do suffer from little spots under the skin on my forehead. Which I really hate. But this works wonders on clearing up my skin and getting rid of those pesky little spots. It’s a wonder I ever stopped using it. You can find the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo [+] here.

I’m a big fan of Emma Hardie, so to say I was excited to get my hands on this, is an understatement. It’s their new tightening and firming serum that’s designed to help lift, sculpt and firm your neck and decolletage. The unique roller applicator helps to rejuvenate the skin, while also improving the tone and texture of your skin. Formulated with pioneering ingredients that increase collagen production, improve the skin’s elasticity and firmness. This neck treatment also offers protection and ultimate hydration. For me, I’m finding that it’s leaving my neck and chest area smoother, plumper and hydrated. Which is exactly what I need at the moment. You can find the Emma Hardie Lift & Sculpt Firming Neck Treatment here.

This is new from Dermalogica, and I’m already obsessed. It’s aimed at those of us who are concerned about skin aging, and it’s making my skin look and feel the best it has in a long time. Formulated with powerful enzymes to smooth your skin and fight against environmental triggers, this exfoliator is saving my skin at the moment. You can find the Dermalogica Daily Superfoliant here.

What skincare products are you loving at the moment?

I already had my set of skincare, but I guess these stuff are still worth exploring.

I love Dermalogica’s powder exfoliants! And I’ve been meaning to try La Roche-Posay. I get some spots here and there so that might be perfect for me.

These all sound fab, but I do love a good exfoliant! I may have to give this one a try x

Today in the morning I used dermalogica daily exfolient for a first time in the morning today. Love how it cleanse smy pores but it is a bit strong for my skin. I don’t normally use physical exfolients probably that is the reason my skin feels a bit sensitive but its worth it.
