Happy Sunday everyone! So next weekend is another Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK and to make the most of it I’m heading off to Lille for some good food, good wine and hopefully some sunshine!
Rather than head off to Lille via plane, I’m getting the Eurostar which is just generally easier and probably quicker as well. I just get on a train in London and then about an hour and 40 minutes later I’m in Lille!
So seeing as I’m not restricted on hand luggage like you would be on a place I’m taking me with a rather big bag that I’m hoping will be able to take all my train essentials. So let me share with you all what’s in my travel bag.
So the bag itself is actually the same Radley bag that I featured in this post. I love it because it really is a big bag which means you get quite a lot of stuff in, as you can see!
Now obviously I’ll add to the bag at the train station as the obligatory snacks and magazines get picked up at WH Smith’s. But for now I have in their some of my absolute essentials. Including my passport, phone, portable phone charger and purse.
Some of my other essentials include my Mulberry makeup bag which is the perfect size for travelling as it’s so small, my beats headphones to block out all the unwanted sounds on the train and my new Fire tablet to keep my entertained on the train. I can watch movies, listen to music, play games or read books on this tablet so I know that hour and 40 minutes will just fly by!
If you want to see more of what’s in my travel bag then you can watch the video below. Let me know in the comment’s below what you keep in your travel bag and where you’re off to on holiday this year.
