Now I think it’s fair to say I’m a makeup junkie. I just can’t help it. It’s one of the reasons why I started this blog almost five years. And one of the best perks of being a beauty blogger is getting to try so many different beauty brands. Brands that might have passed me by without this site. And one of my newest discoveries is Vincent Longo. This award winning brand is much loved by beauty editors, models and makeup artists. And it’s easy to see why. The products have achieved cult status thanks to the sleek packaging, beautiful design and mesmerising marble details. And I’m a big fan! So if you;re new to the brand, and not sure why to try. Then here is my pick of six to try from Vincent Longo.
Water canvas base £33.50
I don’t know about you. But a primer is an absolute essential for me. As someone with oily skin, I rely on one one every day. And having tried quite a few over the years, I know which ones will work best for me. And this one does everything I want from a primer and more. Not only is it incredibly hydrating. And lightweight. But the oil-free formula creates the perfect base for a flawless finish.
Water Canvas Crème-to-Powder Foundation in Cream Beige £43.50
If you’re a fan of a super light foundation that feels like a second skin. Then this is the foundation for you. It’s also pretty clever. It adapts to your skin tone to maintain moisture levels for a gorgeous dewy glow. And best of all, although it feels incredibly light on the skin, you can also build up the coverage for the look you want.
Loose Powder in Porcelain £33.50
Along with primer, powder is also my friend when it comes to combating my oily skin. This powder leaves my skin with a flawless finish that sets my foundation and powder in place for the day ahead. Unlike other powders, there’s not creasing, or caking throughout the day. And just like their other products, the formula is incredibly lightweight. You almost forget you have makeup on!
La Bella Luce Highlighter in Flora £24.50
I think it’s pretty clear that I’m a sucker for highlighter. And this one is just beautiful! I mean look at the gorgeous marble effect! And if you think it looks pretty in the pan, I have to say it looks even prettier on your skin. You only need a swirl of your brush for a multi-faceted glow that highlights your cheeks, cupids bow or brow bone.
Crème to powder blush in Terra Dew £33.50
Now I have to admit, when I first saw this blush I did wonder if it would be just a little dark for me. But I was wrong. The blush gives the cheeks a lovely natural looking flush that you can blend in with your fingers. It’s also really clever too. The formula identifies any dry patches and works to hydrate and soothe those areas. While the creme-to-powder formula adds a velvety soft pop of colour to your cheeks.
Thin Stick Lipstick in Sugar £21
I’m a sucker for a long-wearing lipstick and this one is just lovely. I normally prefer a pure matte finish, but I really love the demi-matte finish of this one. Not only is it incredibly long-wearing, but it’s enriched with vitamin E to hydrate, condition and protect your lips. Plus the twist-up stylo means you can get a precise application.
What do you think of Vincent Longo? Have you tried anything from them before?
