Wearing foundation in the summer months can be problematic. You don’t want a foundation that is going to fall off your face in the heat, and you also need a shade that will match any tan you may have. But I have to say Vichy might have the answer with their new Fluid Corrective Foundation.
As a big fan of Vichy’s Dermablend Loose Powder and their Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation, I couldn’t wait to try their 3d Correction. And I wasn’t disappointed. With five shades to choose from I opted for nude, the second lightest shade. Which is actually perfect for when I have a tan.
Unlike other foundations I tried, the Vichy Dermablend 3d Correction foundation has a thick, mousse like texture. Which rather than being a bit heavy or cakey on the skin, is actually lovely to apply. It’s velvety smooth and just glides onto the skin, covering up any imperfections or blemishes. The lightweight formula is also ideal for covering up any enlarged pores or spots.
The finish is full coverage but also lightweight. Although I prefer a more glowy finish, I do like the matte effect and even though I have combination skin, this foundation worked to keep the shine at bay. You only need to use the tiniest amount of this foundation, as a little really does go a long way. I use a buffing brush to work this into my skin and as I’m applying it you can see any imperfections or spots disappearing and my skin looking healthier. Plus this foundation has the added benefit of SPF 25 included. Making it ideal for the summertime and warmer weather. Well, when it finally decides to make an appearance.
