Two to try from Tarte

Two to try from Tarte

Happy Friday everyone. We’ve made it! It’s the end of the week and time to share with you all some gorgeous new goodies that I got from Tarte. Now for me, Tarte is one of those brands that I definitely need to try more of in my life. I just wish that the brand was easier to get hold of here in the UK. I know QVC stock a limited selection of their products. But what I need in my life is a Sephora. My bank balance doesn’t. But my makeup obsession certainly does. But luckily enough for me. My blogging bestie’s fiancee was in the US. And he offered to pick up some bits for her, and me! And top of my list were these two from Tarte.

So if you’re new to the brand or just not sure what to try from them first, then these should definitely be on your list:

Tarte Chrome Paint Shadow Pot $22

Now those who know me, know of my love of a glitter shadow pot. And this one is just beautiful! The shade is Park Avenue Princess and it’s the most amazing bronze shade. And I’m obsessed with it. The texture is lovely and creamy, and it literally just melts in your hands. It’s also so easy to apply, though definitely use your finger for the best results. I’m not sure what else I can say, the pigmentation is lovely, the glitter isn’t too chunky and the shade is true to colour.

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara $23

Now I’m pretty fussy when it comes to mascara, but having heard so many good things about this one. I knew I had to try it. And I’m definitely not disappointed. I love the packaging. And that fact that it adds length and volume as well as curling and conditioning my lashes too. It definitely gives my lashes an intense look, which is what I like. It’s dramatic and striking but that’s what I want from my mascaras.

What do you think of these products? Are you a fan of Tarte? Would products would you recommend I try next?

Wow that paint shadow pot looks gorgeous. It’s kind of like UD’s half baked but so much prettier! xx
