Three high-end mascaras to try for super fluttery lashes

Three high-end mascaras to try this year

I’m sure I’m not alone in my love of mascara. It’s a makeup bag staple and even if I’m having a no makeup day, I still normally apply mascara. I just can’t live without the stuff. I love the way it can lift my lashes to new heights, and just add a bit of definition to my eyes. And having tried a lot of mascaras over the years, I thought I’d share with you all my top three high-end mascaras. But don’t worry, if high-end mascaras are outside of your budget, I’ll be back next week with my top three drugstore mascaras to try. But in the meantime, let me share with you all my high-end favourites:

Givenchy Noir Couture Mascara £25

Now I’m not sure mascara’s get much prettier than this. As you would expect from Givenchy, the packaging is just gorgeous. And the mascara is pretty impressive too. Lashes are longer and thicker and definitely more voluminous thanks to the tri-spherical brush. The mascara also works to strengthen and revitalise your lashes thanks to the soothing and buildable formula. It’s been a staple in my makeup bag for a while now and I love using it for great everyday lashes.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara £19

Now don’t let the name fool you. This mascara is good, I’m not sure it’s that good though! But if you want full, false lash effect lashes then this is the mascara for you. The hourglass shape brush ensures no lashes are let untouched. And after two coats my lashes are looking bigger, fuller and just generally more voluminous. Plus the pearlescent pink packaging is gorgeous. Even if it does claim to be better than sex.

Urban Decay Perversion £17.50

This is the newest mascara in my collection, but it’s already become one of my favourites. I’m all for mascaras that add some serious length to my lashes, and that is excatly what this mascara does. The formula isn’t too wet, or too dry, it’s just right to effortlessly glide through your lashes coating each and every lash. Ensuring your lashes look full bodies, thick and uber voluminous for that wide eyed look that I love.

What’s your favourite high-end mascara to use?

I’ve never tried any of these. My favorite high end one is Dior Extase. One expensive mascara i think is highly overrated is Benefit They’re Real x

Definitely going to have to try the UD one now! Too Faced is my going out go too mascara, it took a few attempts to get used to (and to get rid of!) but I totally fell in love.

I actually need a new mascara and to date have never paid more than £8 so maybe I need to pay a little more for extra benefits

I’ve not tried any of these high-end mascaras, I’ve always used the drugstore brands. The Givenchy is certainly gorgeous though x

I use the Too Faced one on my upper lashes and love it, I just have to use something different on my lower lashes as I find the brush too big. x

I wasn’t all that impressed with the Givenchy one to be honest, but the Too Faced one works wonders on me x

I have two of the three and Givenchy has never really caught my attention when it comes to mascara so perhaps one to look out for x

I haven’t tried any of these yet, I might need to buy one on my next shopping trip. I’m thinking of trying the Urban decay.

I usually use Avon’s supershock mascara as it’s always worked brilliantly for me and on amazon it’s really cheap so I don’t spend a lot. But if I had that little extra money I think I’d definitely try out the Too faced one!

Two things that I can’t leave the house without and that’s lipstick and mascara. These are must haves for me since I don’t really do makeup. Though I don’t know any of these high end I do love the givency one

Now that I managed to grow my lashes, I’d love to try a really good mascara and make them appear bigger when I have makeup on.
Thanks for sharing these three beauties – I’ll check them out 🙂
