It might only be the beginning of April but already I’m dreaming of summer. And making lots of summer plans. After all, there’s just something special about summer isn’t there? The days are brighter and longer. People are happier and life is just better in flip flops right? So what have I got planned this year? Well hopefully a lot!
In terms of my blog I’m planning on upping the quality of content. I have so many ideas and plans for what I want to achieve and write about this year. And while it’s not practical to write three posts a day. Although I’d love to! I do want to change things up a little. This blog has primarily had a beauty focus. But going forward I want to move it to more of a lifestyle blog. But don’t worry! If you come here looking for beauty reviews and roundups. They’ll still be here. They’ll just be sandwiched between outfit shots, travel features and the latest afternoon tea date I’ve been on.
And speaking of travel. Another one of my big summer plans is a holiday! I’m hoping (and praying) that a trip I’m planning to Santorini happens this year. Santorini is one of those places that has been on my bucket list for ages now. I’m obsessed with the scenery. The whiteness of the building against the deep blue sea. I mean just think of all the Instagram snaps! I’m not sure when in Summer I’ll be able to head out there. But one thing I do know that is that I want to stay in a holiday villa out there rather than a hotel. And Clickstay have some of the most beautiful holiday villas in Santorini. Like this one – it’s just gorgeous!
Aside from my blog changes and lusting over Santorini, I’m hoping to be running in my local Park 5k’s every week. For those of you who know me, you might know that while I like running on a treadmill. I hate running outside. Well that is changing! I’ve started to head out a few nights a week and while I can only manage a few miles at the moment, the plan is to get up to 5k within the next month or two – wish me luck!
So what are your summer plans? Are you heading away on holiday this year? Have you ever been to Santorini?
