When it comes to makeup brushes. I’m not sure they get much prettier than these from Spectrum Collections. For years I’ve admired the beautifully bold, colourful and supersoft brushes. I love how they combine mermaid worthy ombre pastels with quality materials to create what is arguable the most instagramable set of brushes around.
If you’re not heard of Spectrum Collections before then where have you been? They specialise in creating beautiful, bold, vegan and cruelty free makeup brushes, applicators and tools. All of their brushes are hand finished and made with quality synthetic hair. Which not only makes them incredibly soft, but also easy to clean. And one of their signature pieces is this – the Glam Clam. The faux leather shell contains 10, yes 10(!) of their best selling brushes. Each one with rose gold detailing and gorgeous ombre coloured bristles. So here are the 10 brushes:
A Flat Top Buffer (B01) – for applying liquid foundation
A Large Domed Powder (A01) – for evenly applying powders and bases
A Precision Blush (A05) – for blushers, contours and highlighters
A Buffing Concealer (B03) – for concealing the under-eye area and minor imperfections
A Large Fluffy Shader (A06) – to apply your base colour before building shade and contouring
A Tall Tapered Blender (B06) – to blend out colour or build up shade in the contours of the eye
A Small Angled Blender (B04) – to create a contoured eye, add shading or highlight to the inner corners
An Angled Brow (A17) – for creating a defined, sculpted brow line
A Lip Liner (A15) – for lining your lips
A Fine Detailer (A09) – for small detail work on the eyes or lips
Spectrum Collection brushes have long been some of my favourites to use. And this set is an absolute bargain. You get the shell and 10 brushes for just £59.99. That just £5.99 per brush! And if that isn’t reason enough to get these. Just imagine how beautiful they’ll look on your dressing table! Because they do – they look fabulous on my dressing table!
