SkinChemists Advanced Snail Duo Moisturiser

SkinChemists Advanced Snail Duo Moisturiser

Happy Sunday everyone! Well in the true tradition of Sunday, I’ll be spending the day chilling out and giving my skin a good pampering. And one of my favourite moisturisers to use at the moment is this Advanced Snail Duo Moisturiser from SkinChemists. Now if you’re a regular reader of this blog. This brand won’t be new to you. I’ve used quite a few of their products, including others from the Advanced Snail range. And loved everything I’ve tried so far. And this moisturiser is no different.

Now snails may be top of the list when you’re looking for skincare ingredients. But the poly-helixan that they produce is packed full of vitamis and proteins that work to delay the signs of ageing. As well as working to provide protection from environmental stressors.

This duo moisturiser from SkinChemists works to help repair the skin from any daily damage while leaving a mattified finish. Which is perfect now that the weather is turning a little warmer. Along with snails, this moisturiser is formulated using Tiare flower extract to hydrate, repair, soothe and purify the skin. Vitamin E to protect the skin from environmental aggressors. And Creatine to revitalise cell energy metabolism, while also hydrating and protecting the skin.

I have to say that having used the previous day and night versions of these moisturisers, I do love this duo version. The mattifying finish is perfect for this time of year. And I love how this just leaves my skin feeling and looking hydrated, smoother and refreshed.

This moisturiser is £89.90 and is available from the SkinChemists website. However, once again I have a fab discount code for you all! If you use the code MERRY1, you’ll be able to pick this product up for just £19.99!
Just as a side note, I feel I should point out that SkinChemists use sustainable methods to extract snail secretion at no harm to the snail. After the secretion extraction, the snail is returned healthy to its breeding place.
What’s your favourite anti-ageing skincare product to use?

I do like the sound of this and I’m always intrigued by products containing this ingredients but I just don’t know if I can bring myself to put it on my face knowing what it is – I’m a whimp! But I love that you’ve tried so many of their products and that you recommend their brand as I see so much about Skin Chemist that I really should check them out! x

Aw, I loved the little disclaimer about there being no harm to the snails haha – I’ve always wondered how products like this extract the slime! Still something I’m yet to try, I’m a bit apprehensive about putting it on my face ahah. I’ve seen loads on Skin Chemists recently, I should probably take a look at the range
