Shabby Chic Home Wishlist

Shabby Chic Wishlist

Lantern | Blue chest of draws | Light | Bed | White side tables | Mirror

Regular readers of this blog will know that I’m on a mission to move out and get a place of my own. If you’ve read my recent money saving post, then you’ll know I’m almost there. I’ve been working hard to put away as much money as possible, and the end is almost in sight. Hopefully next year will be the year I can finally get my own place. Which is why I can’t stop looking at home interior magazines to get ideas.

When it comes to decorating, I really want my place to be a girly haven. It’s going to be white, pink and full of beautiful pieces – it’s one of the biggest perks of living on your own! I’m a huge fan of shabby chic and French furniture in general. Which is why I’ve put together this wishlist. This is just a snapshot of some of the amazing French furniture shabby chic pieces on the market at the moment.

I really love the look of these blue distressed chest of draws which would love lovely with the bed and chandelier in the bedroom. The side tables would look great in the bedroom as well, or in the living room. I also love the look of this mirror and these lanterns. I honestly can’t wait to move out and get to decorate my own place exactly how I want.

If you could decorate your home, what style would you choose? Do you like the shabby chic look?

This is a sponsored post but all opinions are my own.

our place lends itself to being quite industrial in style, so we’re trying to go with that theme. It’s exciting finding great pieces for a new home! Good luck!

We made the decision to move to pastels and creams in our house last week – It will take us a while to get there but I’m loving the research. We will definitely be incorporating some shabby chic in there.

I like the range of items you chose although I don’t think they would fit in with the style of my house, it’s more natural wood that I go for than painted.
