Now I’m sure regular readers will be well aware of this, but if not, I’m 30 next month. And rather than being upset or scared by it, I’m actually really excited. I’m so envious of all the amazing 30+ women I know who have their shizz together, look amazing and are full of self-confidence. If that’s what 30+ looks like then I can’t wait to reach that milestone! But of course getting older, means that our faces age – it’s inevitable really isn’t it? I’ve had a great year with a lot of laughs and smiles and that shows on my skin. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind that. What I do mind though is the little lines across my forehead that don’t disappear as soon as I stop frowning now! Which is why I was excited to try this new skincare brand – Recind.
For those of you who are aren’t familiar with them, the Recind Beauty Kit contains five ‘miracle’ products which have been designed to work in fusion with other and essentially ‘turn back time’. There are five products in the kit that all promise to renew, revitalise and rejuvenate the skin. So here’s what’s in the kit:
Recind Restructuring Moisturising Cream
This is probably my favourite our of all five products. Using this left my skin looking brighter, smoother and like I’d had a really good’s night sleep. it works to reactivate natural hydration while protecting your skin with it’s unique antioxidant properties. I loved using it and seeing my skin appearing more hydrated and refreshed.
Recind Regal BB Cream
This was the product I was most sceptical about. For me BB Creams are very much a spring summer base. In the winter months I really need a heavier coverage to cover up all my skin concerns, but this surprised me. Especially as although it looks incredibly dark, it actually managed to magically blend into my skin within a matter of minutes. It definitely has the lightness of a BB Cream but the coverage of a high end foundation giving my skin a flawless finish.
Recind New Eye Contouring Cream
This is another favourite of mine. You can use it in the mornings and evenings and it just leaves your eyes looking brighter and smoother with literally no puffiness. The cream is incredibly light to use and not greasy at all – in fact it absorbs within seconds.
Recind Rejuvenating Youth Serum
This is the night cream and I have to say it is really lovely to use. It’s designed to improve the appearance of your skin over time. If you have dry or dehydrated skin then this is perfect for you. It feels like a liquid soap but you apply it to cleansed skin before bed and then wake up to the feeling of your skin literally drinking up the liquid – honestly your skin feels so soft and smooth in the morning!
Recind Resplendent Brightening Cream
This is like a little power bottle. It’s been combined with the Restructuring Moisturiser but will added powerful benefits. Not only has it been designed to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, but it’s been scientifically recognised for correcting age spots and naturally enhancing the luminosity of your skin.
The whole kit costs £79, which works out to be about £16 per product which I think is good value for money. If you want to try you’re own, you can pick one up here.
