Now I don’t know about you. But at this time of year, I find myself relying more and more on foundation to even out my skin tone and just make me look awake and healthy. I didn’t have a summer holiday this year, so my skin is seriously lacking in a post summer glow. And finding the right foundation as we transition to the cooler weather, can be a challenge. Especially for us pale skin girls. Which is why I was excited to hear of these new foundation additions to the much loved Vichy Dermablend range.
Now if you’re new to the range, Dermablend is Vichy’s award winning range of camouflage makeup with added SPF. It’s designed to expertly cover any complexion flaws, while giving you a lovely glow. And the newest member of the Dermablend range. Is the Covermatte Powder Foundation. This compact provides up to 12 hours of full, buildable coverage. Creating a natural, velvety matte finish on the skin. While also minimising the appearance of any imperfections. As someone with combination skin and an oily T-Zone, this compact foundation is great for giving me a non-greasy finish. That works to keep the oil and shine at bay throughout the day.
Alongside the new launch of the compact foundation. Vichy have also added extra shades of their much loved Dermablend 3D Correction Foundation. Now I first tried this foundation last year and loved it. I find the thick, mousse like texture of the foundation, just glides onto the skin, covering any imperfections or blemishes. And although the coverage is full, the formula is definitely lightweight. And just like the compact foundation, it works wonders at keeping the shine at bay. Plus it has the added benefit of SPF 25.
You can get both foundation from the Vichy website. The Covermatte Powder Foundation is £20, while the Dermablend 3D Correction Foundation is £23.
What do you think of these foundations? Have you tried them before? What’s your favourite foundation to use?
