Life lately

Happy Sunday everyone! So it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these posts but I wanted to give you a little life update. I can’t believe it’s May already. I mean where has the year gone? It feels like only yesterday was my birthday, Christmas and New Year. And now we’re in May already!

So as you may know if you’re a regular reader of this blog. I set myself a challenge at the start of the year to up my fitness levels. And I honestly can’t believe I’m saying this. But I’ve started running outside!!! Those who know me, will know how much of a big deal this is for me. I normally hate running full stop. And would normally just run on the treadmill in the gym. But now, I’m running outside! Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not ready for a marathon. But I am committing to running outside three days a week. Plus I’m boxing once a week again. I’m feeling good!

Blogging wise I’ve been out and about a lot lately. I’ve really made an effort to say yes to a lot more things. And one of the things I’ve been saying yes to a lot, is attending blogging events in London. A lot of Autumn/Winter press days are happening at the moment. And I’ve been to the Oasis show, John Lewis show, River Island show and one amazing Boux Avenue event. Which was held at the most amazing club in London. It was a roof top bar with amazing views. And is one of my favourite drinks reception venues.

    I love going to events but I just can’t get to many – although I’m hoping that changes when I’m off work soon for maternity! Congratulations on the improved fitness, I can’t wait to get back to upping my fitness game! x

    Well done for starting running. I used to run until I had a knee injury. Need to go back to it!

    Yay, well done for starting running! It was one of my goals for the year but I’ve not started yet and I’ve just fractured my foot so it won’t be happening anytime soon! xo

    Ah how exciting, love how many cool events you have in the pipeline. Also well done for starting running – outside [haha] I’ve always been too self conscious to do it, but I know how amazing it is for your general levels of fitness.
