June Goals

Happy Saturday everyone! I know I must sound like a broken record. But really, where has the year gone? We’re already in June, yet Christmas doesn’t feel that long ago! This year I’ve really tried to be more focused on my goals. Which is why I thought I’d try and share them with you all on here every month. So that you can see what I’m working towards. But in the hope that if I write them down and make them public, I’ll have a better chance of actually completing them!

First up is getting organised. Work is pretty hectic at the moment, and my blog is busier than ever. But I’m not complaining. I’ve worked incredibly hard to be in this position. I just need to get organised! I need to spend more time at the weekend writing and taking pictures to ease the pressure in the week. Some weeks I find myself having to write a post a day, and it’s just not practical to do that. My evenings are taken up by seeing friends, blog events and gym and PT sessions. So if I can keep the majority of my blog work to weekends, I’ll feel a lot better!

Speaking of gym classes and PT sessions. I really want to focus on health and fitness this month. I know I go on about it a lot. But honestly working out is one of the best things I can do, to calm my mind and feel better about myself. I find I achieve more in the day when I’ve worked out in the mornings. And I’ve always said this, but exercise is as much of a mental workout for me, as it is a physical one.

And now that the warmer weather looks like it might be here to stay for a while. I really want to decorate my place with fresh flowers. I was lucky enough to receive this gorgeous bouquet from Blossoming Gifts and it’s definitely inspired me to have fresh flowers every week! This gorgeous peonies bouquet was a really reasonable £33 and come well packaged. Plus the buds hadn’t fully bloomed which meant they last a good week before needing to be replaced. I know it’s an absolute blogger cliché but I do love peonies and these were just so pretty to have in the house over the last week.

What are your June goals?

I’ve been having the same thought lately about doing some work for the blog on the weekends. Even if it was just a few hours to take photos, it’s so helpful during the week when lots of unexpected things can come up x
