It’s a new dawn, a new day, a new month and I’m feeling good. It’s February. A short month, but a month that has so many possibilities. I don’t know about you, but January did feel very long. And while I did enjoy the month. And had some great achievements. It did feel long! So to say I’m excited for a shorter month is an understatement.
But what does February hold? Well I’m hoping a lot! I’m still trying to find a balance between work and blogging. The commute is long, the days are long and my brain definitely hurts at the end of the day. Meaning that I’m not in the best frame to sit and blog. Which is what I used to do. So that plan for this month is to get a better balance. And spend more time at the weekend getting organised for the week ahead so I don’t need to blog come the evening.
So aside from getting a better work and blog balance, I’m also excited to get back into a routine when it comes to exercise and eating healthy. Now I know I must sound like a broken record. But it’s a big priority for me this year. And something that I NEED to commit to. Having cancelled my gym membership a while ago, I’ve now joined a new gym! This one is very close to where I live and has the best range of classes. It means that I can get back into a routine and start to feel a little fitter and healthier.
And I guess the final thing I’m excited for this month is all the fun things I have planned! I’m off to see Jersey Boys this weekend. Which I’m so excited for. And I’m heading to the Hand & Flowers in Marlow for lunch on Sunday. Which I think is probably the best weekend of the year so far. But I also have plans for dinners and drinks with friends, plenty of catch ups and I’m sure a cheeky shopping trip or two.
Overall, a pretty exciting month planned. What are you excited for in February?
