I’m sure I’m not alone in not spending everyday as my fun, bubbly self. Some days I’m not happy. Some days I let things that are beyond my control affect how I feel that day. Which sometimes means I don’t feel great about myself. About my life. About the situations I can find myself in. Which is why I think it’s so important to make the choice to be happy everyday. Because after all, it might sound impossible. But it’s a choice we’re all capable of making.
Of course some days will be harder than others. Some days you really won’t be able to feel happy or positive about things. But I’m a big believer of positivity, attracting positivity, and negativity attracting negativity. And given the choice, who wouldn’t want to lead a happier, positive life? Well I certainly do. Which is why I decided to go a little further in my quest for self-fulfilment and happiness, by buying the Instagram cult classic – the Happiness Planner.
Now if you’re not familiar with the Happiness Planner, it combine the simple positive mindset by making you more self-aware. It definitely helps me to adapt a more positive, upbeat and thankful outlet. And at the same time you can jot down your thoughts, fears, ambitions and goals.
There are different variations you can pick up, but this one is the 100 day planner. Which focuses more on self-reflection. It helps me understand what makes me happy and what doesn’t. I tend to get quite stressed over certain situations. And have a habit of over thinking everything. But taking the time each day to recognise this, has definitely made me feel lighter and more positive.
Within the planner, there are so many pages you can fill over. From the qualities you’d like to improve on, to what you’d like to achieve within the next 1– days. Alongside this, there are also quotes, rules to live by and opportunities to dream and reflect on the day. What I really like about this planner. Is that there’s a page for everyday of the 100. Not only does each page have a motivational quote, and a chance to jot down your goals. But at the end of the seven days, there’s a weekly reflection where you can look back at your week and think abut how you can improve.
As a self-confessed over-thinker, this has definitely helped to calm me down and lead a more positive, and happier life. Plus I love the idea of getting to look back over the past 100 days and seeing what’s changed. It’s such a lovely idea and it’s really helped me live a more mindful life.
What do you think of this planer? Would you use a planner like this?
