Exploring natural skincare with Keeva Organics

So it turns out beauty is more than skin deep. On average we slather, lather, rub and spray 10 different skincare products onto our bodies every day – or more if you’re a beauty obsessive like me! But since our skin acts more like a sponge than a barrier, do you know what you’re putting into your body by using your favourite skincare products? When it comes to food, a lot of people chose to follow a natural and organic approach. Ensuring they know exactly what they’re putting into their bodies. And ensuring their bodies are getting the best nutrients and vitamins they need. But what about skincare and beauty?

As the largest organ of our bodies, your skin doesn’t just absorb nutrients. It can also take in an alarming number of toxins each day. Toxins such as Sulfates and Parabens. But by going organic with your skin care routine, you can help your skin, and more importantly your body, steer clear of those toxins. So if you want to green your beauty routine, here are my top tips:

  • Make Your Own Green Skin Care Treatments – Want to know the best way to know exactly into your skincare products? Make your own. It’ll save you money and it’s actually quite fun. You can whip up a simple, yet effective face mask using little more than honey and coconut oil.
  • Keep it simple – If there is a long list of ingredients on the packaging, then it usually means you’re only getting a tiny amount of each ingredient. It’s far better to go for products that can define the benefits of their products with only a few ingredients.
  • Stay Beautiful Inside and Out by Being Healthy – You don’t need to resort to a flurry of potions and lotions, to get fresh, glowing skin (though they do help). Diet and exercise can play vital roles in your skincare regimen. Plus working up a good sweat makes you feel good on the inside and outside. Add that to lots of protein, healthy fats, and fruit is a recipe for gorgeous glowy skin. Oh and don’t forget drinking your six to eight glasses a water a day to help flush out any toxins.
  • Say no to fragrances – Artificial fragrances can contain plthalates which can trigger allergic reactions and other health problems. So if you can, always try and choose fragrance -free products.

But if you are looking to find a brand that can offer you gorgeous organic products then Keeva Organics are the brand for you. They offer amazing products that are made with love and organic ingredients that are designed to maximise the use of the proper oils for each product. And two of their hero products target acne and anti ageing – two problem areas for a lot of us.

For acne suffers, Keeva Organics has two unique, natural and completely safe solutions to treating acne. The first is a Tea Tree Oil Acne Treatment Cream. Which is a one-stop acne treatment made with 100% essential Tea Tree Oil. Which is known for mitigating acne causes and symptoms. Working with all skin types, this natural product works to balance rather than harm the skin.

The second is a Clarifying Acne Face Wash. Which has a gentle combination of tea tree oil and Aloe vera. This combination helps to replenish and hydrate damage skin. For centuries, tea tree oil and Aloe vera have been used for medicinal purposes and they’ll leave your skin feeling soft, relaxed, and looking vibrant. This combination will also work to reduce the risk of further acne flare-ups. Because Keeva products were developed with sensitive skin in mind, their skin products are guaranteed not to cause any irritation, inflammation or itching.

But what about anti-ageing. Well a the body ages, skin gradually undergoes all sorts of different age-related changed. But most noticeable, the skin’s connective tissue will lose some of it’s orginal elasticity and the skin will start to become thinner. Which is when you start to see lines and wrinkles. And who wants to see that?

There are a number of ways you can age gracefully. But the main ones are through daily exercise, good eating habits and using what nature has given us – natural remedies. Keeva Organics also has the answer with their an anti-aging, anti-wrinkle night cream infused with lavender. Which not only will help treat and reduce the risk of acne, but it can also help reduce the appearance of blemishes and age spots. As well as hydrating the skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

You can visit Keeva Organics website to find out more about these and their signature range of skin and hair-care products. Every item is made from pure, organic ingredients which are kind to skin, as well as the environment.

It’s great that you are sharing this info, a lot of people have no idea that the chemicals in skincare can add up and become harmful. Although I do use organic and non organic skincare I try my best to use natural products when possible.

As much as I like the sound of natural skincare, I tend to use whatever Rachel has hanging around, just don’t tell her!
