When it comes to beauty treatments, I don’t know many people who don’t love to head to the salon for a bit of pampering. But with brow, lashes and hair to keep on top of, it can get quite time consuming, and not to mention expensive. Which is why I’m always keen to try new at home treatments that will save me time and money. And the latest one I’m loving is the Colorsport 30 day brow tint, which promises to deliver a natural look and defined brows in just a few minutes.
With naturally dark hair, brows and lashes there was only one shade I was going to try. And that’s dark brown! Having never tried a at home brow tint before, I was a little nervous. But this really is one of the easiest beauty products to use.
The kit comes with three items – the dye, the developer lotion and a spoolie brush. As with any home dye treatment, you have to do a patch test 48 hours before to ensure you’re not allergic to the product. I also took the opportunity to have an eyebrow wax 48 hours before to tidy my brows up.
Here is the before picture – please excuse the no makeup and messy brows!
The process is incredibly easy and only takes a few minutes. To start with ensure your brows are clean. I then added Vaseline around the brows to prevent any staining. Then mix the dye and developing lotion together to form a thick paste. Then just use the spoolie to apply the mixture to your brows, wait a couple about five minutes before wiping off with a cotton pad and warm water.
I’m really pleased with the results and will definitely be using the kit again. I think my brows look more defined with a deeper colour and just a lot better than before! The whole kit costs the same as one session of tinting in a salon. But you can get up to 16 applications in one pack. It’s worth trying if you’re someone who likes to get their brows tinted pretty regularly – like me.
The Colorsport 30 day brow tint is available from Beauty and the Bunch for just £8.25.
