Authentic Pan Asian Cuisine at Chi Kitchen

Chi Kitchen

Along with beauty and photography, food is up there as one of my biggest passions. From Italian and Indian food to American or Asian Cuisine, I just love to eat! Which is why I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to go and try some amazing Asian Cuisine at the newly opened Chi Kitchen in Debenhams on Oxford Street.

Despite spending almost three weeks in Thailand almost four years ago, it’s only in the past few years that my love for Asian cuisine has developed. And with the 2014 MasterChef winner Ping Coombes as the Executive Chef, I had high hopes for the restaurant. And it certainly didn’t disappoint! To say we ate well was an understatement- there was so much food but it was all phenomenal! We had California Crab Roll, Chi Kitchen Roll, Salt & Pepper Baby Squid, Popcorn Shrimp, Chicken Satay and Chicken Katsu Curry. See I told you there was a lot of food! But it was so good. The presentation was amazing as well. Each dish was beautifully presented, some with dry ice and others with different decorative pieces on. They were almost too beautiful to eat. Well almost!

The flavours were intense and authentic and I found the choice was great. You can choose from Sushi, noodles, Dim Sum, there’s definitely something to suit most palates. Plus the venue is lovely and so easy to get to. It’s at the back of Debenhams with it’s own entrance, or you can drop in via the Beauty Hall. The restaurant is quite small and intimate which I prefer as it means you can really enjoy the atmosphere. There’s also a cute champagne bar if you just wanted to pop in for drinks and snacks.

Having discovered this little gem in Oxford Street I’ll definitely be popping back soon to try their lunchtime menu.

Are you a fan of Asian cuisine? Have you been to Chi Kitchen before?

Wow your meal looked incredible, I did a review of Chi Kitchen a few weeks back and whilst I enjoyed my time there were a few things that weren’t to my taste. I’m going back for the chicken satay and pasties though – nothing can stop me! 🙂
