I’ve been on the hunt for a while to find a powder that would help to seal my foundation and came across this in the aisles of Boots last week.

The Bourjois Healthy Balance Unifying Powder promises 10 hours wear and is filled with Asian fruit therapy for sweet smelling hydration and anti-shine.

Naturally, I am quite pale, so I picked up a shade darker than I actually am and went for number 53, Light Beige. I love that the colour isn’t too dark and doesn’t transfer onto my clothing either – result. This powder is definitely better for setting a liquid foundation rather than a powder foundation, but for light coverage with a hint of colour, you can use this on it’s own.

The powder itself feels incredibly smooth and silky in the pan and personally I prefer to use a brush to apply powder, which is good as although this comes with a handy mirror in the lid, it doesn’t come with a sponge.

The slight downside for me was that it didn’t give me 10 hours worth of wear, it probably lasted about 6 hours before it needed touching up, which really isn’t bad.

Although the 10 hour claim wasn’t true for me, I would highly recommend this powder, as it gives me flawless coverage and sets my make-up perfectly. It’s also only £8.49 and well worth it in my opinion.

If you want to pick this up, it’s available on the Boots website.

I’ve heard this isn’t a bad dupe for the Chanel Les Beiges which I love so I definitely need to try this and compare.

I heard that too. Not tried the Chanel Les Beiges one, but if you do pick this up, would love to hear whether you think it is a good dupe or not x

This sounds great, I’ll definitely be adding it to my ‘to try list’!

Absolutely, I use it everyday now, my poor Rimmel Stay Matte powder has been moved to the bottom of the pile x
