Beauty from within

As a self confessed beauty addict, I love nothing more than trying new products and creams and plastering myself in makeup. For me makeup is about enhancing what’s you have, camouflaging what you don’t like, and giving you confidence. Now I’m am more than happy to go makeup free. In fact most of my weekends are spent makeup free. But over the past month I’ve been testing out different ways to boost beauty from within.

I’ve started to take vitamins for my skin. As a blogger who also works full time, I often work late hours and seem to push myself to the limit. But these vitamins from Seven Seas are great for helping me get through the day when I’ve had a busy day in the office, followed by an event or three in London.

I’ve also started to take Skinade liquid Collagen, which has been working wonders on my skin. The liquid works to improve your skin’s hydrating, increased your skin’s smoothness, reduces fine lines and also prevents the formation of deep wrinkles. Collagen has been shown to support the elasticity of the skin and help to fight the visible signs of skin ageing. It also helps with the maintenance of bones, ligaments, hair and nails. Which is what we need as we age. Since taking the drinks. I’ve seen an improvement in my hair, nail and skin which are all looking and feeling healthier. Which is pretty impressive for a drink!

Five A Day

As you may have seen from my Life Lately post I’ve been trying to eat healthier and exercise more. And it’s been working wonders for my skin. Eating healthier food and sweating out in the gym is making my skin glow. And it’s not just from the new Hourglass Palette that I’ve been using non stop for the past few weeks. This new regime is definitely something I’m trying to stick to.

Water, water and more water

Generally I drink a lot of water. I don’t like hot drinks so I just stick to water most of the time. Although I do quite like a Diet Coke in the afternoons which is the habit I’ve been trying to break. And since I’ve replaced water with my daily Diet Coke fix, my skin has definitely improved.

What do you do to emphasis the beauty within you?

My mission after Christmas is to improve my skin it’s not in bad quality but I want to achieve some sort of glow similar to what I had when I was pregnant. I find it hard with vitamins though as a lot contain fish oils and I’m allergic to sea food and not sure if I would have a reaction or not

These sound like great vitamins, especially if you have a busy schedule. I also drink a lot more water now instead of fizzy drinks

I need to push myself to drink more water as I know my skin will thank me. I’ve invested more into skin care products than I ever used to to get my skin in a good condition x

I start with the best of intentions when it comes to vitamins… Then after 5 or 6 Day I forget. I have started drinking a lot more water recently. I never used to drink any at all, but now do 2-3 litres a day
